Phillip Hofmeyr is responsible for event delivery and marketing for mashup* Events. He is also co-founder of consumer internet start-up, Snagsta.com and as a result a hardened social media practitioner. Prior to that he was a Senior Manager at Vodafone where he negotiated and managed strategic supplier relationships.

Phillip has 10 years business development and commercial contract experience primarily in the telecommunications and Internet industries. Phillip spent 5 years working in Asia and has a vast network of industry contacts there as well as in the UK and US.

He holds an MBA from Oxford University and a BSc Civil Engineering degree from Witwatersrand, South Africa.
